The Casual Outfit!

Here I am again posing like a model in the middle of Piccadilly. You know, I have to tell you though that posing for pictures is not my favourite thing. Yeah, that's right! I love blogging, I really do...however posing like "The Next Top Model" I just don't think that is "my thing". FASHION on the other hand, that is definitely "my thing"! Today it was the day for my first afternoon tea which we choosed to have at the Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel and I thought that it would be a good idea for once to take my outfit pictures in busy street in order to get a more authentic glimpse of the real London.
This red jacket is absolutely perfect for this time of the year. Not too heavy, not too light. Color easy to combine and the elegant design makes it even easier to match with almost everything.
Needless to say that accessories have the power to transform even the simpliest outfit.
Pants themselves are so colorful that I didn't want to overshadow them with something complicated, which is why I chose a simple denim shirt
Shoes were the final touch to the outfit in order to add an extra sparkle, plus they are so comfortable. I simply love them!

In full bloom!

Do you remember a month ago when I first uploaded pics from these trousers and I told you (actually it was more like a promise ) that you will see these babies soon again featuring in one of my future posts ( when the weather will allow it )? So, the time has come and when the weather gets sunny in London you just feel like wearing whatever colorful/ bright/ summerish, available on your wardrobe and do literaly anything that doesn't include indoors.

The denim shirt dress!

For those who follow Wardrobe Stories you've seen before this dress ( here ). However, this time I was influenced from the '60s and decided to wear it with my plaid shirt and of course my favourite red heels ( also seen here and here ).

I believe the hairband is a nice touch...don't you think?

Emerald lace!

I believe that I haven't mentioned previously that, the last a couple of months all the pictures were taken with my iPhone and the blog I was updating it through my iPad. So, it was quite difficult for me to achive the result I wanted for my blog. The pictures were fantastic, especially considering the fact that were taken via phone, however the subsequent procedure was quite lengthy and with not as much attention to detail as I would wish to be. That's the reason I was so looking forward to share with you my excitment when finally bought our new laptop and now everything will be much easier :)
Regarding the outfit details of the day, I've always believed that lace it's a difficult piece to combine and in my effort to be more creative and to avoid the "safe" choice ( meaning most propably white top or shirt ) I thought it would be interesting to wear it with a knit and my killer red heels and wander the streets of Canary Wharf feeling a real fashionista!

Shiny Happy People!

First time since we moved to London I saw such a beautiful day like today! 17 degrees and blue sky so of course we took advantage of that and went at the Green Park. People all around enjoying the sunshine, others exercising and my eye caught a couple of fellow bloggers posing as well. At that point I thought to myself, thumbs up for technology which allows people in our days to actually follow their passion, put it out there and having the opportunity to share it with the world... Amen! Aaand this is what I choose to wear.
P.S please don't follow my lead and wear high heels at the park. Apart from receiving strange kinda eyes watching at you, you will ruin the grass as well ( ok, your heels ).
P.P.S I know I need a haircut!

The transparent back!

I bought this top a couple of months ago on Ebay and I never found the chance to wear it, until now! It seemed to me that it would match perfectly with my new shoes from Zara, what you think? We visited for first time since we moved in London, Westfield Stratford. I must say that I wasn't very impressed, I mean, it is the place to go on a rainy day and melt your heels off at shopping but it was way too massive for my taste. On the other hand, Westfield in Sheperd Bush is more well proportioned, oriented and not that big. Nevertheless, you don't feel that you have limited choices of stores.

The number 32!

When I opened Wardrobe Stories I set some goals to myself, among all the others one of them was that I will be trying different styles even if I think that they are not close to what I used to wear or at least I used to think that do not flatter me enough. After all that's one of the things that makes fashion so interesting, the fact that it can never ever be boring. There are endless combinations you can make, different fabrics, colors, mix and match whatever your imagination builts and put it out there. So, I was sitting with my boyfriend while he was watching an NBA game and I suddenly had a brain wave, to wear one of those jerseys with heels. At first, it started as an experiment at home but my mirror was telling me to dare and wear it outside. So I did! What you think?
